I don’t understand how that wig could make the inventor millions of dollars. That idea is just plain stupid.

Jake, Doggles was created back in 1999 for the purpose of protecting ones pets from harmful UV rays. It was also intended to provide protection from wind and debris in cases where your dog rides with you in a car or in the back of a pickup truck.

In the aftermath of 9/11, Doggles were one of the few companies that the ASPCA contacted directly for protective gear for the Search and Rescue Dogs. As you mentioned they have been of great service to our nation.

If you read the first paragraph, we mention that these ideas aren't all that stupid just a bit odd and quirky.

Actually, doggles are quite useful, as eye protection form dust storms in the middle east or from collapsed buildings… like 9/11

Perhaps you should mention that “Doggles” are actually intended for service dogs, such as the ones used by the military and the police. Doggles protect the eyes of dogs used in Iraq and Afghanistan from the effects of sand storms and were used to protect the eyes of the dogs used for search and rescue following 9/11.

Seeing as how “Doggles” have done more for humanity than any of us, I don’t really think they should be classified as a “stupid” invention whatsoever.

Pet fashion was just an unfortunate byproduct.

Doggles are generally used by search and rescue teams, the police and the military. They actually have a practical purpose.
